Bailey Passion Scholarship General Conditions and Disclaimers

There will only be one Application, Selection, Notification and Award Period per calendar year.

• The Application Period is from 12:00 pm PST on March 1 to 12:00 pm PDT on May 1. 
• The Selection Period is from May 2 to June 30.
• The Notification Period is on or before July 31.
• The Award Period is during the school year following the Notification Period.

All materials submitted will be kept confidential to protect your anonymity. They will remain the property of the Fund.

Please consider that if you are a finalist that we'd like to celebrate your success by announcing it and posting it on our website or through social media.

By submitting an application, applicant acknowledges that his/her application, including his/her video, may be posted on this website, at Sponsor’s discretion. By applying you acknowledge that Sponsor has no obligation to use or post any application you submit.

By submitting an application, you agree that your application is gratuitous and made without restriction, and will not place Sponsor under any obligation.

By submitting an application you warrant and represent that it: a) is your original work, b) has not been previously published, c) does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity, and e) and that publication of the application via various Web posting, will not infringe on any third party rights. Any such applicant will indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor from any claims to the contrary.

Each Applicant acknowledges and agrees that potential scholarship recipients are subject to a background check (including, without limitation, civil and criminal court records and police reports and an audit of the potential recipients’ social media accounts. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any applicant based on the results of such background check/audit.

Potential scholarship recipients are also subject to verification, including, but not limited to, verification of age, current attendance at a PPS high school, and that they are a legal resident of the U.S. 

Awards are non-transferrable and must be accessed and used by the recipient within the academic year following the Notification Period of the award. Recipients may request an extension to the Award Period or distribution to occur over multiple years as long as they do not trigger any Conditions of Revocation.
